There is change in the air in Champeaux!

Indeed, the team is growing and includes two new owners, Mark (the Englishman) and Sébastien (the Burgundian), who joined the Fermes de Florence adventure in October by buying the Royal Gala and Demoiselle gîtes. Of course, Florence (the Parisian) is always there and will welcome you with great pleasure to share a coffee. After 20 years of welcoming tourists, she will devote herself to her passion for ceramics.

 

It’s a real change of life for Sébastien and Mark who had lived for years in the city center of Auxerre. Sébastien worked within the Jean-Marc and Julien Brocard family estate and Mark in airport and then railway security in England and as a gardener at the Brocard estate.

 

Both fell in love with the Normandy region and the Fermes de Florence estate. Their desire to return to nature, to a simpler and calmer life is reflected in their wish to settle in the fall of 2022 and quickly launch their gîte activities.

 

Who says new team, says new projects!  Creation of a permaculture vegetable garden, wine tastings, turnkey stays for your well-being sophrology, yoga... Mark, who trained in cooking when he was young, will offer you gourmet baskets to enjoy in your cottage, from the vegetable garden on the plate, while Sébastien will make you taste the biodynamic wines of Domaine Brocard and will also offer you relaxing massages.
